Bathroom Remodeling in Leominster & Central Mass

A bathroom remodel lives or dies on what goes behind the tile. In older Central Massachusetts homes, it is common to open a wall and find soft subfloor, old galvanized pipe, or a shower that was never properly waterproofed. Covering that up with new finishes just moves the problem a few years down the road.

How we approach it

Delane Construction remodels bathrooms as a general contractor, so the subfloor repair, framing, plumbing coordination, waterproofing, tile, and trim are all part of one job with one point of contact. With more than 27 years in the trade, Lauderly Lima knows what to look for when the old bathroom comes apart and how to fix it before the new one goes in.

Whether it is a small hall bath, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a full primary bathroom, the process stays the same: a visit, a clear proposal, steady communication while the work is underway, and a final walkthrough so you can check every detail.

How it works

How a bathroom remodeling project runs

01

Tell us the goal

Bigger shower, more storage, easier access, or a full redo. We talk it through before the visit.

02

Inspect the space

We look at the floor, walls, ventilation, and plumbing layout to spot problems before they become surprises.

03

Clear proposal

You get the scope and price in writing, including how we handle hidden damage if we find it.

04

Build it right

Demo, repairs, waterproofing, tile, and fixtures, with updates throughout and a final walkthrough.

Bathroom Remodeling: common questions

It depends on size, tile, fixtures, and whether plumbing moves. As a general market range, many full bathroom remodels in Central Massachusetts fall somewhere around $15,000 to $40,000, with smaller updates below that and large primary baths above it. We give you a clear written number after seeing the room.
A typical full bathroom often takes a few weeks, depending on tile work, inspections, and how quickly fixtures arrive. If it is your only bathroom, tell us early so we can plan the sequence to keep you without a working toilet for as little time as possible.
In older homes it happens often. We show you what we found, explain the fix and the cost, and move forward only with your OK. Because one contractor handles framing, subfloor, and finish work, the repair does not stall the project while you search for another trade.
In Massachusetts, plumbing work requires a permit pulled by a licensed plumber, and electrical changes need an electrical permit. Structural changes need a building permit from your local building department. We coordinate those permits and inspections as part of the job.
