Kitchen Remodeling in Leominster & Central Mass

The kitchen is the room that gets used hardest and dates fastest. In a lot of Central Massachusetts homes it is also the room that was sized for a different era: a narrow galley in a Cape, a walled-off kitchen in a colonial, or a cramped unit kitchen in an older two-family. A good remodel fixes how the room works, not just how it looks.

How we approach it

Delane Construction handles kitchens as a general contractor, which means we can do more than swap cabinets. If the best layout needs a wall opened, a window moved, or the floor leveled first, that is part of the same job. Our project photos include a kitchen with full wood cabinetry and granite countertops, finished with the kind of detail that holds up to daily use.

We keep the process simple. After a visit and a conversation about how you cook and live, you get a clear proposal. During construction we keep the work area contained, coordinate the plumbing and electrical, and keep you posted on schedule, then walk the finished kitchen with you before we call it done.

Kitchen Remodeling: common questions

It varies a lot with size, layout changes, and materials. As a rough market range, many mid-range kitchen remodels in this part of Massachusetts land somewhere around $30,000 to $80,000, while a refresh that keeps the layout can come in lower and a large custom kitchen can go well beyond. The free estimate is where you get a real number for your kitchen.
For a full remodel, plan on several weeks of construction, and longer if walls move or cabinets are custom ordered. Lead times on cabinets and countertops are often the biggest factor, so we try to have materials ordered before demo starts. We will help you think through a temporary setup so daily life keeps working.
Cabinet and countertop replacement alone often does not, but new electrical circuits, moved plumbing, removed walls, and many window changes do. Your local building department issues those permits under the Massachusetts building code. We handle the permits for the work we do and schedule the required inspections.
Yes. If you have already chosen cabinets, a countertop fabricator, or tile, we build around those choices. If you are still deciding, we can walk you through practical options during the visit, including what tends to hold up best in a busy kitchen.
