New Construction, Garages & Framing

New Construction, Garages & Framing in Central Mass

Framing is the part of a building that nobody admires once the drywall is up, and it decides how everything after it goes. Walls that are out of plumb make cabinets hard to set, floors that are not flat crack tile, and a roof frame that is not sized for New England snow load is a problem for decades.

How we approach it

Delane Construction does new construction, detached and attached garages, and framing for homes and additions across Central Massachusetts. Lauderly Lima has been building for more than 27 years, and the company takes on residential and commercial work, from a single garage to the shell of a new house.

Whether you are a homeowner building a garage or a builder who needs a framing crew that reads the plans and keeps the job moving, we start with a clear scope, communicate as the work progresses, and walk the structure with you at the end.

New Construction, Garages & Framing: common questions

Once the permit is approved and the slab or foundation is in, framing and closing in a typical one or two-car garage can often be done in a few weeks, with doors, siding, and electrical following. Permit review and weather are the main variables, so we plan around them.
Yes, a new garage needs a building permit, and many towns also check zoning rules such as setbacks from property lines. The local building department reviews the plans. We can help you understand what your town asks for before you commit to a size and location.
Yes. We take on framing for new homes and additions, residential and commercial. Send us the plans and the schedule, and we will tell you how we can fit in.
Framing can continue through much of the Central Massachusetts winter with the right precautions, like clearing snow and protecting materials. The harder part is foundations and concrete in frozen ground, so those are best scheduled before the deep cold.
